This dynamic scanner can be used in any type of outdoor environment to acquire a digital model. It is primarily intended for urban use, particularly in narrow areas that are difficult to access using vehicle-mounted models. However, it can also be used on industrial sites, which can be just as difficult to access. The equipment also includes its own point cloud processing software.

 

Compared to many mobile scanners, this backpack does not rely on GNSS for proper operation. If GNSS reception is insufficient, control points can be added for absolute location.
The backpack can be used to scan all types of indoor spaces (e.g., airports, industrial buildings, or shopping malls). The bMS3D-360 is lightweight.
It protects the retractable camera and all other components since it is self-contained.

The PPiMMS® post-processing software manages all data from the system.
Its mission is to calculate, control, and improve trajectories using LiDAR-SLAM functions and reduce drift using loop closure algorithms. The user can manually add GCPs to limit the result when GNSS reception is poor. However, in most cases, the user can include post-processed global positions (PPK) using the GNSS post-processing software.
Compared to many mobile scanners, this backpack does not rely on GNSS to function properly. If GNSS reception is not good enough, control points can be added for absolute positioning.
